Yoga to the Rescue

Curses…foiled again. Some days things just don’t go your way. You get cut off in traffic, spill coffee on your new shirt, get into an argument with your boss or just feel upset at the state of the world. You can’t avoid negativity, both in the outer environment or listening to your mental chatter. It can really wear a body down. Dealing with daily stress can take a toll on your adrenal glands, not to mention adding a few gray hairs to your “do.”

No worries. Yoga comes to the rescue to help you handle the “battles” of the day or take a much-needed break from your hectic life. Use yoga to deal with anger and stress management—it can be as simple as doing a couple minutes of powerful pranayam (breathing) to prepare for a stressful job interview. Do some “super-hero” yoga exercises to balance your glands after a frustrating encounter or to help you unwind after a tough day. When all else fails, try some Laughter Yoga!
