Nudge Your Navel

Strengthen the Solar Plexus

Seasons change, bringing adjustments to the body’s chemistry. Your body knows how to prepare for these changes by altering the glandular system. You can give yourself a little nudge in the right direction by building a strong physical core to help stave off the season’s flus and colds. The best place to start is with your navel point—the center of your power!

Navel strengthening balances both your nervous and glandular systems. On top of that, exercises focusing on the abdomen help get the digestive juices flowing, making you lighter on your feet and more able to express the new, power-packed you. Try some sit-ups, or yoga exercises for the navel. Take the initiative to strengthen your resolve—and your solar plexusduring the season’s changes. Just a few minutes a day and you’re on your way. It’s a great way to tell your body you’re in this together!
