Looks Like an Angel

Mantras for Protection

Since recorded history, human beings have felt the presence of protective spirits. The Old Testament refers to “guardian angels” and the Greeks believed that God sent each individual a spirit to watch over them. Modern psychology explains that guardian angels are projections of our ego, created by our subconscious to protect us from our fears. Most spiritual practices provide a way to call on protective spirits for guidance and healing, through prayer and meditation.

Ancient yogis used mantra to raise their vibratory levels in order to repel negativity and ward off bad luck and to elevate the spirit. Imagine that you are creating a force field of positive energy as you chant your favorite mantra. Many spiritual paths guide their devotees to imagine “beings of light” imparting protective powers. We all need “a little help” from our spirit friends from time to time. Call on the universal energy with mantra and feel the power!
