Color Your World
Green Waves of Light

Color yourself green—not with envy but with the healing properties of color therapy. Colors are a form of visible light known to have healing effects (think of rainbows and prisms). You don’t have to be a color therapist or a scientist to be aware of these positive benefits. Red is associated with passion, excitement, anger, sacrifice. Blue is calming, sometimes cold, related to water. We’re talking about green—the color of growth, abundance, healing and the natural world.
Green relates to the heart chakra. Use green to develop forgiveness, trust and compassion. Attract abundance and love into your life by wearing green colors and gemstones, such as emerald, jade or green turquoise. Take long walks in nature, plant a garden or meditate on a green candle. Take green into your meditation or healing practice by visualizing yourself surrounded by green light. Let the color green fill your aura until this healing light flows out of your heart and into the universe.
