Can't Beet It
Support Your Liver

Ever hear the phrase, “Your liver is your lover”? The liver is one of the largest organs in your body--performing over 500 separate functions-- it can even regenerate itself when damaged. So doesn’t your liver deserve a little love? Some more good reasons to support your liver: It converts vitamins, minerals, fats and amino acids into useable forms for the body, supports immune function and handles production of good cholesterol. That’s just for starters…
The liver is a super organ and beets are the super food for keeping it healthy. Beets are a powerful detoxification agent known to assist the cellular regeneration of the liver. In many health systems and vitamin supplements they are the primary ingredient for liver support. The earthy taste of beets can be enjoyed raw in salads, as a soup or by steaming with the greens. Or try Yogi Bhajan’s famous beet and carrot recipe for some blissful, beautiful beets and a happier, healthier liver.
