Ride the Wave

Astral Weather Report, Nov. 11

Right off the bat, November brings two planetary shifts that temporarily mitigate situations that have been emotionally stewing. On November 2, both Venus and Mercury begin their tour through hopeful, honest, optimistic Sagittarius, thus lightening the mood and helping you to see the brighter side of things in your communications and relationships.

Nevertheless, a degree of emotional intensity still exists this month, especially during the week of November 7, as energy ramps up toward the time of the Full Moon on November 10. With the Sun and the Moon both in fixed signs (Scorpio and Taurus), there will be an especially powerful energy operating, one that will carry over into the following day, the famed 11/11/11. People will be passionate, intense and obstinate during this potent time.

You may find yourself picking up the pieces for the next 10 days after that. Things look up when the Sun moves into open-minded Sagittarius on November 22 and you will find higher ideals and spiritual teachings coming to the forefront and offering solutions while easing tensions.

On the night of November 23, Mercury turns retrograde and communications might be muddled for the next three weeks. Avoid signing any contracts or making purchases of things with electronic or mechanical components. The night of the 24th is the time of the Sagittarius New Moon – a good time to set new goals and dreams for yourself. Put high-minded ideas into motion and let go of those which no longer serve you.

Speaking of letting go, it may be time to apply a more discerning eye to your relationship status starting on November 26. This is the day when Venus moves into reserved and cautious Capricorn, indicating a need to put some new boundaries on an existing partnership. Overall, November is shaping up to be a bit of an emotional roller-coaster, so get ready to ride the wave!
