Bruce Black is a writer, editor, husband, father and teacher who feels most at home on his mat practicing asana and writing in his journal. His book,Writing Yoga: A Guide to Keeping a Practice Journal, evolved out of his practice and is now used as part of yoga teacher training sessions around the country. His hope is that his book will inspire others to use a journal as a way of deepening their understanding of their practice. He is currently contributing his wonderful insights on the power of journaling as a yogi for Yogamint readers.

Allison Brewer left the corporate world in 2009 to be a full-time mom to her two boys. She writes a healthy living blog, Get Natured, to inspire others to live nurtured lives full of health, happiness, and simple pleasures. Allison's blog features wonderful vegetarian recipes. Her love for healthy food translates to her articles for Yogamint. In 2012, Yogamint readers will be treated to more of her tasty recipes and suggestions about cooking with love and intention.
Amrita Davidge is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and writer. She and her husband offer ongoing yoga retreats at the historic Sewall House Retreat Center in Maine. Amrita has produced several Kundalini Yoga videos with her husband, as well as a vegetarian cookbook. She shares her love for yoga and life through her wonderful, uplifting articles for Yogamint.
Kewal K. Khalsa is a mother, Birth Doula, and Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) and is passionate about supporting families in conscious parenting and birth. She has been teaching yoga since 1997 and is a DONA trained Birth Doula. Her contributions to Yogamint include her love for Kundalini Yoga, as well as parenting articles on travel with kids, postpartum care, and the wisdom of children. As the mother of two daughters, Kewal considers parenting to be one of her highest adventures in personal growth, service, and awakening of the heart.
Linda Lara is a composer, musician, private school music teacher, and a certified children's yoga teacher.She is also founder of Musical Yoga Adventures, LLC, and has written and produced 2 kids' yoga albums with routines. The practice of yoga and teaching children has been a wonderful life-changing experience, which has inspired her to create music and routines for them. She also runs workshops for families and teachers, and continues to enjoy the abundant benefits of combining yoga and music. Her Yogamint articles inspire us all to find our inner child as well as teach the young people.
Lola Scarborough (aka Sat Avtar Kaur) joined Yogamint's Contributing Experts in 2010 with her fun and insightful article on Tongue-Wagging Yoga. She is an IKYTA-certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, a certified life coach and a Qi Gong Food Healer. She teaches aerobics, is a certified Reiki Master and is a co-creator of Yoga Lola Studios, LLC in League City, Texas. Lola has shared her love of acupressure with Yogamint readers in her Pressure Point A Day article and continues to take Yogamint readers on an exciting journey of self-discovery through yoga and meditation with her In Depth series on developing Nerves of Steel.
Melissa Costello, founder of Karma Chow, is Yogamint's Food & Flow chef and Contributing Expert on vegan/vegetarian cooking, nutrition and cleansing (featuring mouth-watering recipes!). As a Nutritional Educator and Wellness Coach, Melissa works with clients teaching them how to live a happier, healthier life through a plant-based, whole foods diet. Satmukh/Simeon Darwich started learning yoga as a child when his mother guided him to do shoulder stands. Satmukh is trained as a health and nutrition counselor and travels the world teaching various forms of yoga. Dr. Sharada Hall is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and an Ayurvedic practitioner who offers a unique and comprehensive approach to preventing illness, correcting imbalances and achieving optimal health. Stacie Dooreck (Saraswati/Jaipreet Kaur) is a devoted yoga practitioner, lifelong vegetarian and Certified Sivananda Yoga Teacher since 1995. She is also a Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor, Prenatal Khalsa way and Gentle Integral Instructor and Chair Yoga Teacher Trainer. Skylor Powell is a health coach and yoga instructor who is fortunate to live in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. Joel Darshan Ingwaldson, is an avid gemologist, healer and Kundalini yogi. Darshan's Cosmic Corner articles enlighten Yogamint readers on the power of gemstones. She enjoys the process of combining Kundalini yoga kriyas and meditations with the specific qualities of the gemstones. As a yoga teacher and art consultant, she enjoys helping her students and clients to create spaces of beauty, prosperity and healing. Mehtab Benton's name means Light of the Moon, so it is fitting that he has become one of the most insightful and approachable vedic astrologers around. His readings, are uniquely tuned to each individual and can focus on anything from the spiritual to the practical decisions one needs to make in day to day life. Mehtab has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and is the author of 11 books, including the recently released Gong Yoga: Healing and Enlightenment through the Sound. Agnidevi Agnese Mandetta, our Crystal Therapy Contributing Expert, is a long time student of Vedic and Buddhist spiritual philosophies. She has been blessed by true gurus and rimpoches, including H.H. the Dalai Lama, and initiated into various mantras and the stages of sannyasa. Agnidevi took the Bodhisattwa vow in 2007. She is a Reiki master, an angelic channeler, a crystal therapist and a yoga teacher, living on the Costa Brava in Spain. Kudrat Kaur Khalsa is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher who specializes in Naad Yoga, the science of sound, and in the ancient art of healing through gemstones, meditation, mudra and mantra using the mala as a meditation tool. She teaches workshops on the sacred science of Yoga, Mudra, and Mantra and the history and technology of the Mala (as taught by Yogi Bhajan). Sandy Krzyzanowski has practiced Yoga for over 15 years and taught for over three years in studio, corporate and high school settings. She is a Certified Hatha Yoga teacher with two separate certifications: YogaFit® and TeriLeigh LLC. Sandy teaches Meditation/Breathwork classes, Facial Exercise classes, on-Site Corporate programs and Private Consultations and is also an American Council on Exercise (ACE ®) certified personal trainer and Reiki Practitioner.
