Confusion to Resolution

If you feel yourself stumbling over your words or putting your foot in your mouth for the first couple weeks of the month, don’t be surprised. Mercury is still retrograde as September gets underway, and, as a result, communication is likely to be strained, confused, or suppressed.

Messages will get lost and signals will be crossed. On one hand, Venus in her home sign of Libra encourages you to engage with partners in almost everything you do, but at the same time Mercury, the trickster, will be trying to put a monkey wrench in your plans. Text messages you send out might get misinterpreted and phone messages might accidently get deleted.

Communication improves after September 12, when Mercury goes direct and your brain starts moving in a forward direction again. Computers start behaving the way you want them to and the office printer finally appears on your desktop. After this date, you are also in a better space to have that important heart to heart talk with the one you love. Furthermore, the latter half of the month is a better time for signing contracts, negotiating pay raises, and buying electronics.

The cosmic atmosphere becomes more intense after September 14 when Mars moves into Scorpio and adds a bit more drama to everything you do. Passion is the name of the game with this kind of energy operating--so be prepared. Action will be taken with an all-or-nothing attitude, so be ready to stand behind your words and follow through with your intentions. At the same time, if something or someone isn’t resonating with you, just walk away. This is not a time to be wishy-washy or to do things halfway.

Energy balances out after September 22 at the Fall Equinox when the Sun moves into Libra. For the four weeks that follow, expect the pendulum to swing the other way, slow down, and hopefully come to a stop. There is no need to make any big waves at this time. Keep judgments and negative comments to yourself. Peace is the name of the game with Libra on the scene.
