P is for Power

Fruits That Make Your Body Happ-P!

This time of year there is an abundance of healthy, delicious options among the precious P fruits. So much so, that it worth considering a spring cleaning fast of eating only P fruits for 1-2 weeks.

Papayas and pineapples—with their digestive, anti-inflammatory cleansing enzymes; peaches, plums, and pomegranates are alkaline and loaded with antioxidants. Then there are pears! What a lovely shape!
Among the types of pears, the possibilities seem endless: Asian or Bosch or Bartlett, oh my! Pears also have the greatest edible material to core-seed ratio. That is, except for papaya, yet another potent P!

So, P is for pure, P is for pleasant and pleasing, and P is for "Please give it a try!" In short, give P’s a chance! 

P…P.S. A great P fruit salad: Chop small and medium pieces of any combo of the above fruits and place in bowl. Put approximately ½ cup of the chopped fruit in the blender and using 2 tablespoons of water or papaya juice, blend and pour on your fruit as a dressing!
