First Drink of the Day

Water You Waiting For?

Let there be water! Most people don’t drink enough water throughout the day. You get too busy, forget, it’s not convenient, or it doesn’t taste good. But a great way to start out right is by pouring yourself a nice tall one (12 ounces or more) first thing in the morning and drink it down, so it’s the first thing in your stomach.

If there are acids and residue from yesterday’s meals still in your system, this rinse neutralizes your pH and gets your intestines (whose main function is absorption) a chance to hydrate and get ready for action. If constipation is an issue, 12-16 ounces of water first thing will help keep you regular. It’s a good idea to have your glass of water waiting for you on your nightstand, by placing it there before bed. Why not put two full glasses, just in case you wake up in the middle of the night thirsty. Drink up!

Hope all do the same so we all keep healthy and happy...
