Each Morsel is a Moment

Graze Don't Gobble

At your next meal, even if it’s just a quick lunch on the go, take a moment to act as if you are having a feast. Treat yourself like the guest of honor. The results will astound you.

First, take the time to give thanks. The sense of gratitude will have amazing effects. After that single moment of reflection, your food will taste better. Your surroundings will take on a new tone, as if the birds had come out just to sing for you. You’ll fully appreciate the value of your time. You’ll chew more thoroughly, savoring each bite. That will lead to better digestion and a less groggy afternoon. In short, your gratitude will attune you to the abundance you’re actually experiencing. When you wrap up, you’ll have another opportunity to give thanks. Do it, and you’ll see that everything has gone down easy.
